My Mask (Cheeerful Poem 18)

Am I prepared?

Now that you ask

I am prepared

I have my mask!

An extra thing

You need to pack

I've one in blue

And one in black

If I were smart

I'd cut a patch

From each shirt hem

To make masks match

And one in white

And one in pink

You may remove

Masks when you drink

I've got photos

So I am wise

Mouths are hidden

Smiles show in eyes

But on a plane

I sleep, I'm blind

My mask is what

I hide behind.

If brave, I'd cut

Two teeny holes

To sneak a look

At others' souls!
